Job Summary
We are looking for a Product Design Engineer with hands-on experience in designing and developing data center rack systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end product design, from concept development to production, ensuring structural integrity, thermal efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop data center racks, enclosures, and related mechanical systems
Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and BOMs using CAD tools (SolidWorks & AutoCAD)
Perform structural analysis, load calculations, and thermal considerations for rack systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, electrical, supply chain) to ensure design feasibility
Work on prototyping, testing, and validation of designs
Support new product development (NPD) and continuous improvement initiatives
Troubleshoot design issues and implement corrective actions
